HKIA CPD: Beyond Hype

AAL INNOVATION co-founders Adeline Chan and Ar. Anne Zhang will present at this HKIA CPD Seminar exploring the practical applications of AI in architectural practice — moving beyond the hype to demonstrate real performance.

Topic 1: Data and Knowledge Management — The speakers will introduce a comprehensive evaluation methodology for testing leading Large Language Models (LLMs), followed by a research paper analyzing code interpretation capabilities of mainstream LLMs in 2026. The session explores cutting-edge knowledge base technologies and enterprise data governance for AEC stakeholders.

Topic 2: Paradigm Shift in Design Tasks — The session covers the potential industry disruption brought by AI image generation tools at the feasibility stage, including the latest features of these "to-prosumer" tools, and the emerging trend of AI formally taking over standardized design tasks.
